Support Artists. Bring WATER MOVES to Life. Help Us Raise $8,000.
Donations at any level make a BIG difference-don't be intimidated by the autogenerated suggested donations.
This May 7–9 at Joe Goode Annex Amelia Rudolph premieres WATER MOVES — an intimate, multimedia vertical dance experience exploring water as element, resource, and life force.
After three decades of groundbreaking vertical dance in public space, Rudolph returns to the theater for a potent, close-up encounter between audience and performer. Centered on the body as vessel, WATER MOVES weaves movement, experimental rigging, projection, sculpture, and sound into a richly layered environment of suspension, counterbalance, and fluid light.
This work is powered by an extraordinary team of Bay Area dancers and collaborators who bring rigor, imagination, and deep embodied knowledge to the stage. Their artistry is the heart of the piece.
We are raising $8,000 to support:
• Dancer and artist fees
• Rehearsal space
• Technical production and design
• Costumes and materials
In a climate of dwindling arts funding, your contribution directly supports working artists and helps ensure this world premiere is realized with the care and excellence it deserves.
Join us in making this immersive new work possible — and in valuing the artists who bring it to life.
With gratitude,
Amelia Rudolph
