Update from Lori!!

BIG PRAISE REPORT: I am thrilled to share that after a long journey, I have finally received a clear diagnosis of Autoimmune Hepatitis, confirmed by a liver biopsy! It's a blessing to know that this condition is not a result of anything I've done, but rather my immune system's misdirection. I am also intrigued by Dr. Vincent Forte's theory of "WM water". While this condition is chronic, I am empowered to know that I can manage it and live a fulfilling life.

My treatment plan is to embark on a journey of steroid therapy, which will suppress my immune system, but hopefully stabilize my numbers, allowing me to return home and continue my care through telemedicine. I am already experiencing a significant improvement in my health, and even if it's a placebo effect, I am embracing it!

I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support, thoughts, and prayers. Your presence in my life has been a beacon of hope and strength. As someone who has always been self-sufficient, I am humbled to recognize that sometimes, we need the support of our village, and I am blessed to have an incredible one!
