It Takes Courage Asking For Help At 68

- Dear Friends, My life has been upended by circumstances beyond my control, leaving me in financial crisis. Tragically, after being injured on the job, my employer—a company profiting from 15 luxurious assisted living facilities—refused to provide accommodate my light-duty work restrictions. Instead of supporting me, they left me to navigate this hardship on partial workers’ compensation, earning only 50% of my salary since 12/2/2023. This has pushed me further into financial instability & no way to stay afloat. As an Activity Coordinator, I poured my heart into creating moments of joy, laughter & connection for residents with dementia & Alzheimer’s. With bills piling up, I’m struggling to recover & rebuild while actively seeking new employment. I’m asking for your help to get me out of this homeless shelter I moved into a week ago & help me with a $3,000 deposit for a home & to cover basic expenses during this critical time. Your kindness could provide the lifeline I need to move forward, bringing me hope & stability. Thank you for your empathy Louise McReynolds
