Wintertide Festival takes place in and around the Hartlepool Headland, bringing the streets to life, illuminating and animating public spaces to engage, inspire and spark curiosity.

Wintertide Festival is an independent event managed by individuals and representatives from the local community, although it has aspirations to develop a regional audience footprint. The Festival aims to develop and support high-quality arts engagement, highlighting and celebrating local history, heritage and talent while addressing local issues.

The festival is taking on a new model becoming a biennial event to build connections and projects in order to build towards a fabulous spectacle event in 2025.
