We are Tom and Courtney, and we are reaching out for help after a incident involving some kittens we have been caring for, Corduroy and Lafayette. We had been looking after three outdoor kittens who lost their mom, hoping to give them a safe and loving space. Unfortunately, two aggressive stray dogs attacked them, and while we were able to rescue Cordy and Faye, their sibling Gulliver sadly didn’t survive. Faye suffered severe injuries and needs a leg amputation, while Cordelia is also receiving vet care as she recovers from the trauma.

Additionally in the rescue and transportation to the vet efforts, my wife and I were both injured. We don't have extensive medical bills, but needed to buy some medical supplies to care for our wounds during this time.

The funds raised will go directly toward Lafayette’s surgery, post-operative care, and ongoing vet bills for both kittens. Additionally, we’re transitioning our home from a one-cat household to caring for three cats, which means new supplies, food, and everything needed to help Corduroy and Lafayette adjust to their new lives indoors. We want to give them the best chance at healing and happiness after everything they’ve been through.
