Our Nana was recently diagnosed with aggressive Stage 4 lung cancer. Hearing this news has been devastating for our entire family. She has always been our rock and the heart of everything we do, and it is impossible to imagine our lives without her. Because the cancer is so aggressive, we know our time is limited and we want to make every single moment count.

She means the world to us. She is an amazing Mother, Nana, and Great-Grandma who has always loved us unconditionally. She is the kind of person who makes you feel at home the second you walk through her door. Growing up, she taught us how to take care of our own families by the selfless way she always cared for us.

Some of our favorite memories are the simple ones at her house like picking cherry tomatoes from her garden, grabbing cherries straight from the tree, and the countless nights we spent there as kids. Whether she is tending to her plants, working on a diamond painting, or showing us her collection of gnomes, her home has always been a place of warmth, laughter, and love.

We want to give her the best time possible while she is still here. We want to fill her days with the things she loves most like camping trips, traveling, and quality time with her kids, grandkids, and great-grandchildren. Our only goal is to make as many happy memories as we can.

At the same time, we are trying to prepare for what is ahead. We want to make sure that funeral costs, cremation, burial expenses, and a headstone are all taken care of. We want our family to be able to focus on being together and supporting her rather than worrying about finances during such a hard time.

More than anything, we want our Mom and Nana to feel surrounded by the comfort and love she deserves. She has given us so much over the years and now we want to give that same love back to her.
