I am raising $26,500 to cover living expenses as I go through the intense process of healing from debilitating trauma.

My mental health has gotten so bad it stole my life and my physical health, constantly paralyzing me with chronic anxiety, depression, extreme physical tension, and overwhelming pain. Because of this I have lost everything and I am determined to make a full recovery and return to life and my family safely, and stronger than I’ve ever been.

I am currently in a residential PTSD rehab with no housing to return to upon discharge.

Rehab is only the starting point for long-lasting trauma healing and transformation.

That is why I am asking for financial help, to secure 12 months of housing after treatment so I may continue the process of deep, transformative healing without cycling back into survival mode.

Hi, I’m Uriah, a father, Army veteran, and aspiring entrepreneur. I have lost myself, my kids, my business, housing, relationships, and connections due to all-consuming PTSD.

Despite my life-long chain of chronic traumas, I’ve been given the nickname “Mr. Inspiration” due to my ability to create good things out of bad situations, my outside-the-box thinking, and my relentless drive for truth, healing, and helping others. Sadly, I sometimes view myself as “Monster Inspiration” because in my worst moments I have continued the cycles of trauma and pain, especially as I have been driven deeper into survival mode.

My story is overflowing with trauma... but also full of hope and healing. Which is what this fundraiser is ultimately about.

And I’m already translating my experience into a free trauma transformation course, called “Intuitive Flow Trauma Transformation” to share with the world.

The Goal: $26,500

This amount will allow me to pay a 1 year lease upfront and cover basic living essentials as I continue the process of personal recovery and course development.

THE BUDGET

Recent searches reveal that rental rates for a house in fair condition in a safe neighborhood run ~$1200-$2000/month.

(Estimated Monthly):

$1,600: Rent

$400: Utilities & Essentials (water, electric, internet, food, transportation, etc.)

Total: $2,000 x 12 months

= $24,000/year

+ $2,500 move-in costs (transportation, deposits, furniture, appliances)

= $26,500 total goal

Any additional funds raised above the overall housing & essentials goal will be used to support the final stages of development of Intuitive Flow and building the free website making it available to the public.
