This is the appeal from Tracey as at March 2023
Hello. My name is Tracey, I have recently completed my Bachelor in Pharmacy and will graduate in April. Currently I am doing my internship with the PNG National Department of Health.
What I like most about the Pharmacy profession is the limitless career paths it has to offer. I am more passionate about the clinic aspect of being a pharmacist where I get to have direct contact with patients and counsel them on pharmacological and non-pharmacological management and treatment.
I have a strong passion to help other people and work in hospital settings.
A few weeks ago I discovered a lump on the top of my right breast. I went in for an ultrasound and the Doctors did a biopsy that confirmed that I had a stage 2B tumor, which if left untreated can result in the affected area and most likely spread to nearby areas. I was fortunate that this was detected early so that I can get treatment.
I have just started work and have no savings or financial support therefore I am asking for help so I can travel to Singapore as soon as possible to undergo necessary treatment
The total cost inclusive of Travel Expenses, Accommodation, Daily meals and related bills as well as Treatment itself will cost me approximately A$70,000.
The duration of my treatment will be 3 to 6 months. I will undergo surgery to remove the tumour followed by other biological therapies to completely destroy the cancerous cells.
Please help me as you are able. Love Tracey.

Tracey is now back from Singapore following successful surgery and is begnining the Chemo and intensive radiation treatment. I have funded all her costs so far, and now appeal for financial assistance in covering her ongoing medical expenses.
I have known the Tuna family for the past 10 years and have contributed to the education expenses of the children's high school years and Tracey's university course. Tracey is a committed Christian young person with a vibrant personality, and has dedicated herself to improving the quality of life for people in PNG
Also Tracey has a strong testimonial reference from Pr Rex Koi president of the Central Papuan Mission. I am not able to attach it to this site but can send it to you if of interest
Also a considerable amount of other supporting documentation is available
To ensure the integrity of the process I will facilitate the payment of all donations through the bank account setup on this Gofundme page
Thank you Sincerely for your consideration and support for Tracey

RE: MEDICAL REPORT FOR RESIDENCY(PHARMACY)OFFICER TRACEY TUNA FEMALE/25YEARS
The aforementioned has completed her studies and is in her first year of residency training. She has been ill since 2019 with a breast tumour, and has presented numerous times to the emergency department, and admited to the surgical ward, and even had a breast biopsy and surgical excision of the breast tumour.
The tumor has recurred this year and she is again being reviewed for re-biopsy, surgical
excision (lumpectomy) in Singapore and then will undergo chemotherapy here in PNG.
The illness has affected her both physically and psychologically, and this has also affected her training. She has decided to temporarily discontinue residency training to focus on her health. She will also need funding for her chemotherapy treatment.
This medical report affirms her ill health and her decision to defer training as well as to seek funding for treatment based on medical grounds
