Help Restart TVW as Mill City Motorcycles!!
2020 has been a hard year on everyone. and especially so here at The Vic Werks.
We started this business in 2016 with big dreams and visions. We love what we do here. we love helping customers, we love keeping Victory motorcycles on the road. we love building one of a kind custom machines. and we love all of our customers. But the tale of the tape tells no lies and the truth of the matter is that for the last 4 years we have been sliding backwards a little bit every year. We expected that for the first few years as it is tough to get any new business off the ground. But 2020 was our make or break year. I have cashed out well everything. all my savings, retirement accounts even sold my own bike and shop truck to try and keep things running. and looking at the books we are not going to make it. Our lease runs out at the end of March 2021 and we need at least $30,000 if we a re going to continue operations for another year. It cost's us over $100,000 a year to run The Vic Werks in it's current form and we are coming up short this year.
We have changes planned for 2021. We have registered the name "Mill City Motorcycles" to better reflect adding Indian Motorcycles to what we do. Both Brands being from Minnesota, The Mill City, Company Polaris. and we had expected this year to have set us up in a position to be able to make that change smoothly. But so far 2020 has not gone to plan for any of us.
We fully realize that money is VERY tight for everyone. you might not be able to help a lot, but $5 would help, heck even a $1 if you can spare it would help. we would be very appreciative of anything. If we can reach our goal of $32,000 we can resign our current lease for another year in our current 2300sq ft warehouse and hope for a better 2021. If we can reach half of our goal, we can sign a lease on a smaller shop and just focus on parts and shut down the service and bike building which have not been as profitable.
we WANT to continue operations. we WANT to continue helping The Victory Community, we WANT to continue to build kick ass one of a kind bikes. You can help make that happen!
We currently have 2 cars and 2 bikes for sale currently listed well below blue book. You can help by helping us find a buyer for these vehicles too! I have dropped the prices several times now and willing to just break even on them if that's what it takes to get them sold.
from now until the end of the year, All in stock victory parts will be substantially reduced in price and if you don't like a price we give you, make an reasonable offer and we will probably take it!
