Our Story:
2016 Was not good to The Martin family. Job loss, Landlord foreclosing after 10 years, breadwinners income gone & bills pilling up. In October we had no where to go and have been in temporary housing ever since but that offer is expiring the end of April.
Finding a job has been difficult for Terry, and explaining all this to Chance has been heartbreaking but we have relied on our faith to get us through each day.
A Place To Call Home:
We need a place to call home, the trouble now is with a bankruptcy on our credit, apartments automatically say "NO", so we are having to go through private party and they want double security deposit, plus we sold everything when we had to move except for our beds and clothes so we are starting completely over (though we would sit on the floor as long as we have a roof over our heads).
How You Can Help:
We need support more now than ever from Friends who besides my son Kris are really the only family we have. We would be so greatful and honored for any assistance you could provide in helping us pull together the move in cost so we can once again feel secure and back in a place of our own.
Chance needs and deserves to be a child again not having to deal with or worry about grown up stuff anymore. This has been a long haul and we are ready to be "normal" again.
