Six years ago soon after we rescued a kitty she fell pregnant. We saw this kitty give birth to four beautiful all white kittens who later got their markings. One of these kittens grew to look like the spitting image of her mama. With a sweet and semi odd demeanor we knew we had to keep her. As she grew she looked more and more like her mama kitty. Sammie has always been small. Full grown she is a petite four pounds. This last Friday she was hit by an SUV going too fast to see her and she now is enduring a broken pelvis. She is currently hospitalized and in need of orthopedic surgery to fix her pelvis which is broken in 3 places. Her total cost for treatment is expected to be around $10,000, some of which we have already paid for her treatment thus far.
