Help Sweet Daisy Walk Again

Hi friends,

 We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to ask for your help in saving a very special dog named Daisy.

 Daisy came into our rescue after a heartbreaking video of her being abused on the street went viral. For eight long months, we joined the fight to find her—and we did.

When we finally brought Daisy to safety, we believed the worst was behind her. But her journey to healing has only just begun.

 After being rescued, Daisy underwent surgery to repair severe damage to her CCL (doggy version of an ACL). She recovered beautifully and joined our foster program, where she finally started to experience love, comfort, and a safe place to rest her head.

Unfortunately, at a follow-up vet visit, we learned Daisy had damage to her other knee as well. We hoped it wouldn’t require surgery for a few more years—but fate had other plans.

 One morning, her foster woke up to find Daisy in pain, her knee swollen and inflamed. She was rushed to the vet, where we received devastating news:

 • She needs exploratory surgery on her previously repaired knee
 • A second surgery to fix new damage
 • And a third surgery to repair her worsening left knee

 Three surgeries. One incredibly brave dog.

Daisy’s life has been filled with heartbreak. She’s been abandoned, passed from home to home, abused by a trusted friend and spent months on bed rest. But through it all, Daisy has remained unbelievably sweet, trusting, playful, and full of love. She has every reason to give up on people—but she hasn’t.

And we refuse to give up on her.
