My older brother, Sean Maguire, was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig's disease at the end of 2024. The disease has progressed at an unfortunate rapid pace, and we need your help!

Anyone who knows Sean knows he is the best of us, and he now needs the best of us, to help him do his best in this fight against ALS. He has always lived a life of good karma and helped those around him in any way he could. We are praying for the same in return for Sean. ALS is a very progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord. It leads to the loss of muscle control, and over time, this disease makes it difficult and eventually impossible to move, speak, swallow, and breathe. It is a condition with no cure, and every day Sean encounters new challenges.

Your financial support will go a long way as the expenses are piling up and will continue to do so. Any amount that you can afford is a true blessing and appreciated more than you can imagine!

He will be facing multiple surgeries and trips to Pennsylvania and Boston for treatment, trials, and therapy in 2025. In addition to medical and travel expenses, there will be expenses for medical equipment to help Sean try his best to live with this crushing disease. His wife and daughter are supporting him as best they can, but will soon need in-home care that is very expensive. He will eventually need a new vehicle to be transported to and from medical visits and surgeries, as an example of what is to come.
