On February 1, 2021 at approximately 3 pm, Robert J. Espino fell asleep in death after having caught the beast that invaded his lungs and his organs which contributed to his untimely death.
Robert was born on July 10, 1962. He was a very proud Local 11 Electrician, Brown and Proud as he always told all for many years. He was known by many to be a hard worker, a stand up guy and the type of guy who would take the shirt off his back or give you money if you needed it with no questions asked.
Anthony came into Robert’s life on January 16, 2010, which completely changed Robert’s life for the better. Instantly he fell in love with his newborn son of which he took on the SOLE responsibility of raising since he was 3 days old. They were one another’s world. Anthony became his passion and took priority over anything and everything. He would get up in the wee hours of the morning to prepare his lunch as well as his son Anthony’s meals for the day and was out the door with his son in arms, in tow to Anthony’s caregiver, “Griselda’s” home.
Robert would call Anthony every day on his way home from work to ask him how his day was and to discuss what they would be having for dinner. Robert made sure Anthony completed his classwork every day, fed him, and every night they had their ritual of calling Robert’s mother to tell her they loved her and to share some humor together. Then they would spend some time singing, talking and praying until they fell asleep together.
Robert always said that he wanted to work until he could not anymore so that he could provide his son a good living. Unfortunately, he is no longer alive to continue with his desired dream. Anthony is left without his world, his daddy and will now be raised by his loving aunts and cousins. He will be greatly missed by his Mother, Sister, Brother, Sons, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and his Electrical Brotherhood.
No donation is too small and is with great gratitude to the family who will receive to assist with expenses needed to help raise Anthony as well as a trust fund for Anthony to use as an adult.
