Help Support Izumi’s Healing From Lung Cancer

In mid October, our beloved friend Izumi felt pain in her chest and immediately went to the ER. An X-ray and CT scan revealed a nodule on her lung. A biopsy was ordered and on November 12th she learned that the nodule was cancerous, but hopefully operable. On November 16th the PET scan confirmed that the tumor has metastasized and the cancer is Stage 4 and inoperable. After numerous oncologist consultations and deciding on a targeted drug therapy as the best first treatment plan, COVID-19 variants found their family a few days before Thanksgiving and again on Christmas, despite precautions.
A chain of events like this might challenge the best of us, but Izumi sees it as an opportunity to learn to heal herself, and thus develop new ways to help heal others.
Izumi is a wife and life partner to Mitch, mother to Lumina, daughter, sister, healer and friend to all. Lumina is 4 years old with special needs due to her Down Syndrome. She is a radiant light in our community, and needs her mother here to raise her for many years to come. Izumi creates natural elixirs and functional beverages to support the health of others.
When someone in our community is in need, they reach out to Izumi for support. She has been selflessly giving and sharing her healing gifts with others all her life, and now it’s time for her to receive.
The friends and family of Izumi have started this GoFundMe account to ease the burden of medical costs and to support the family as they navigate the path to health. Your support will help fund western medical treatments that may not be covered by insurance, as well as alternative therapies. We hope to raise funds to allow Izumi to get the very best care available anywhere in the world and integrate many healing modalities into her treatment plan. Her doctors believe that this will be a life-long healing journey, and with your support, we can help make that life a very long one.

She is open to everyone and accepting of anyone, always being 100 percent there for anyone needing her help.
Izumi is fully vested in her life’s mission and that is healing her community and the world. I’m proud of the woman, the mother and wife she has become.
