Hello, my name is Elizabeth Sarkisian and I am a pre medical student completing my post bachelorette. I need your help to help me pay for my education tuition because I underestimated how much financial aid would provide me in loans. I am about $14000 short.
I graduated CSUN in 2019 and knew I wanted to go to medical school, but I lacked the confidence and medical school resume to apply and take the MCAT on my own discourse so I instead applied to my post bachelorette program and got accepted out of 400 students.
In my life I have endured many difficulties and struggles in which I had to relearn how to get back on my feet by giving back to the local community. Through the connections I made with people, I was inspired to go back to school, one class at a time. I have volunteered in downtown Long Beach feeding the homeless, organizing clothing, food and storage centers, I have volunteered counting homeless youth and waitressing at fundraising events in Bellflower and I have even had the opportunity to volunteer in Armenia at the Austrian Hospital in Gyumri in the pediatric surgical unit.
I am extremely grateful for this platform. I will be extremely grateful for any amount of help. I truly believe I will make an attentive, caring and devoted pediatric physician to the underserved community because I have been there myself. I know the difficulties people at the low income spectrum must endure and I hope I can help to take care of them soon. Please believe in me and help me get to medical school.
