Owning a business  in America was a dream come true for Suraj when he opened a convenience store near Columbus a month ago. Having met him in person, We can attest to his energy and passion towards building this business to help his family flourish and thrive amidst the economic challenges that he was facing. But who knew that all his efforts will succumb to the gunshots injury that he is facing right now. He is a victim of multiple gunshots that ruptured his lower backbone, liver and other parts of his body. It was Friday evening that when two young boys aged 16 and 18 that entered his store and demanded of money. Suraj being a seasoned gas station operator knew this drill. He immediately informed these boys that they can have all the money but spare his life since he have young kids at home. Suraj helped them with the money that was in the store (dont know how much) and upon which they left the store. Suraj felt relieved that his life is spared but only to find himself in a further difficult situation. One of the boys cam back inside the store and shot Suraj in the back twice (God knows why). Suraj fell to the ground struggled and found his cell phone and made a phone call to his wife to inform her that he has been shot. She immediately called 911...Now Suraj is in the hospital dangling between life and death. They have two kids age 2 year son and 12 year old daughter. They all need your help to get through this situation. Pls donate as much as you can to help them out. These funds will be used by Hina Kochhar and kids for their living expenses during the long recovery period since it may be a while before Suraj can be back on his feets.
