हाम्रो डेढ वर्षकाे छाेराे ब्लड क्यान्सर (AML-KMT2A-REARRANGMENT) बाट संक्रमित भै केमाेकाे सम्पुर्ण काेर्ष, ५ औं केमोथेरापी, पूरा भएपछि बाेन म्याराे प्रत्याराेपणकाे लागि क्रिस्चियन मेडिकल कलेज, भेल्लाेरमा प्रतिक्षारत छ। बाेन म्याराे प्रत्याराेपण नगरे तुरुन्तै बल्झने अत्यन्तै धेरै खतारा रहेकाे चिकित्सकहरुले बारबार भनिरहेका छन्। बिक्री गर्न खाेजेकाे जग्गा बिकिरहेकाे छैन। बाेन म्याराे प्रत्याराेपण गर्न छ महिनाकाे सम्भावित जटिलता (कम्प्लिकेसन्स) सहित एक कराेड भन्दा बढी खर्च हुने देखिन्छ । मेराे अथक प्रयासका बावजुत पनि कुनै उपाय नलागे पछि मेराे छाेराकाे जीवन रक्षाकाे लागि स्वदेश तथा विदेशमा रहनु हुने यहांहरु सबैमा सहयोगको लागि अनुरोध गर्दछौं। गोफण्डमी मार्फत वा सोझै बिरामी छाेराको नाममा रहेको नेपाल बैंक लिमिटेडको खातामा सहयोग रकम जम्मा गरी हाम्रो छाेराेलाई पुनर् जीवन दिनु हुन सविनय अनुराेध गर्दछौ।

If it were not for blood cancer, our 21-month-old son Siddhartha Babu Baral would be joyfully playing with his sister and cousins at home. However, he has been hospitalized at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, for the past five months, and our journey has been marked by both challenges and hope.

Siddhartha's health took a sudden turn after experiencing a cough and fever before the last Dashain. Despite initially responding well to treatment, his condition worsened after the festival, leaving him pale and weak. After multiple tests and consultations, Siddhartha was diagnosed with blood cancer (KMT2A genes), prompting our urgent journey to seek specialized care at CMC, Vellore.

At CMC, Vellore, Siddhartha underwent five phases of intensive chemotherapy, which has yielded promising results with the MRD now negative. However, our journey is far from over. Siddhartha requires a Bone Marrow transplant, and the total cost of his treatment exceeds seventy-five thousand dollars. Had we possessed sufficient funds, doctors would not have recommended another round of chemotherapy but would have already begun preparing for the transplant. Despite our efforts to sell our properties, the economic downturn in Nepal has made it challenging to meet these expenses.
