We are Keith and Autumn Holmes. We are from California, and we are working to help family recover from fire devastation.

On January 8, 2025, the tragic Eaton Fire swept through the Altadena community. Unfortunately, our cousin Shannon was one of many who lost her home and her belongings in its path.

Shannon’s home was a generational legacy, where she grew up and where family roots run deep.

Her grandmother and father came together, combining her savings and his GI Bill to purchase the home. In an era when homeownership represented security and a legacy of generational wealth, they laid the foundation for a future built on stability and opportunity.

Shannon’s father was targeted in a predatory reverse mortgage scheme. After he passed, she poured her heart, time, and resources into ensuring the home stayed in the family. Now, after all that struggle, it is gone in the blink of an eye.

Shannon was sharing her home with her mother and her brother. They were forced to evacuate at 3AM with just the clothes on their backs.

The fire took everything and she needs to start over completely. All proceeds will go directly to Shannon as she navigates this tragedy.
