I am currently going through a major life transition following the unexpected loss of my father.
Over the past several months, I have faced a series of unforeseen challenges that have placed a significant financial strain on me. What began as travel for important family events quickly turned into multiple unexpected trips, including returning for my father’s funeral, followed by additional travel and living expenses that added up rapidly.
Since my father’s passing, I have also taken on the responsibility of saying Kaddish daily in his honor. I attend synagogue each day for all three prayers, which is something deeply meaningful to me. At the same time, this has added ongoing costs, including frequent driving, gas, vehicle wear and tear, insurance, and maintenance.
In addition, I experienced unexpected vehicle issues that required costly repairs, further adding to my financial burden.
I am also currently in the process of moving and rebuilding my life, which has required additional expenses, including paying for a storage unit and covering relocation-related costs.
With Pesach approaching, the additional costs associated with preparing for the holiday have added another layer of financial pressure during an already difficult time.
I am a God-fearing Jew and have always relied on Hashem with faith and trust. At the same time, I understand that there are moments when we are meant to seek support through others. While I continue to place my trust in Hashem, I am also reaching out and giving those who are able the opportunity to help through tzedakah during this time.
Altogether, these combined circumstances have left me with approximately $20,000 in debt, along with the ongoing costs of stabilizing my situation and moving forward.
I have always worked hard, taken responsibility, and done my best to be there for others. Asking for help is not easy for me, but at this point, I recognize that I cannot manage this alone.
Any support — whether through a donation or simply sharing this page — would mean more than I can express.
Your help will go directly toward:
- Paying down existing debt
- Covering relocation and housing costs
- Managing ongoing essential expenses
- Allowing me to rebuild and move forward
- Covering daily transportation costs, including gas needed to attend synagogue for Kaddish and to manage my move
- Helping with essential expenses for the upcoming Pesach holiday during this difficult time
Thank you for taking the time to read this and for helping me take the next step forward.
