Help Service Dogs Change Lives

Tax deductible
In 2019, my 3 children and myself were in a horrible car accident. It drastically changed my life, along with my daughter's. I was left with life-altering injuries: a traumatic brain injury, neck, shoulder, and back injuries, along with PTSD. While it has been over 5 years now, some injuries healed, and some remain permanently. I am left with what is known as invisibility disabilities.

Domino Service Dogs is a non profit that helps those with disabilities, to raise and train service dogs. They have helped me work toward getting my life back and becoming independent.

In the two plus years I have been a client at DSD, with my own service dog in training, I began to take back my life.
Having my service dog in training has allowed me to rebuild my life. I am back in college full time to finish my bachelors. I also recently moved into my own apartment. This was something I was told via doctors that would not likely be possible, yet I am proving them wrong.

Domino Service Dogs truly changes lives! They are helping me rebuild, regain confidence, and are supportive. I feel seen and heard here, and am treated as an individual. As a person with disabilities, that is HUGE.

My daughter has her own unique challenges, and was accepted into the DSD program. With there help, my daughter, Abbie recently welcomed a black standard poodle puppy into her life, to be her service dog in training. Having this pup, begins a huge positive step in Abbie’s life.

Abbie will be a sophomore in high school school, loves to write, has great artistic abilities and has plans to continue her education, to likely work in the field of Psychology. She wants to help others.

We are both grateful for Domino Service Dogs helping us. We know the cost to raise a service dog ads up quickly. The initial cost of the puppy/dog, vaccinations costs, vet bills, food, equipment/gear, traveling and training hours ad up quickly.

I am a single mother of 3, recovering from a Traumatic Brain Injury, and working on healing with PTSD. While I am diligently working on rebuilding my life, learning new skills, and in college full time, my daughter and I need your help.

So, I am reaching out to all the good kind hearted folks to ask for help to donate and support Domino Service Dogs, so that they can continue to make a positive impact for people with disabilities, such as my daughter and myself.

While the accident may have altered my life and left me with disabilities, Domino Service Dogs has given me hope. Hope that I can live an independent life, and that my daughter will also be able to become independent.

We are grateful for any funding that you can provide our service dog teams. Thank you for being a part of bringing back hope of independence for those with disabilities….

Thank you,
Team Heidi & Braveheart and Team Abbie & Espresso
