On the night of August 31st, my youngest daughter and son-in-law-to-be were hit by a horrifying flash flood that wiped out ther entire basement of their new home. They had to be rescued in chest-high rapids by the neighbors, but they got out safely. They are now facing the dreaded task of putting the beloved new home back together again. Thankfully, they have insurance, but as we all know, they do not cover everything that was lost. Please consider donating or offering your support as they get to work.
They also have the coolest friends on earth. Led by John Roll Tide Parker, they have put together a benefit music/BBQ event set for October 27th to help raise funds to replace the essential items lost. If you cannot make the event, here is your chance. Thank you John, you are THE MAN.
