Help Saleem and His Family Evacuate and Start a New Life
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Kristi and I'm based in the US. Like many on social media, I have watched the destruction of homes and lives in Palestine. Currently, Gaza has been under siege for 10 months, where families have no support outside of the enclave.
Saleem is a young man from Gaza who supports his family. They had a beautiful home that was built by his father, who died in the 2008 war when he was 11 years old. Saleem would like to evacuate his family which includes his wife, son, and daughter along with his mother, who has a heart condition, and his brother who has Down syndrome. His son also has a congenital heart condition that will need treatment in the future.
This campaign will go toward evacuation costs.
The price for an adult to evacuate to Egypt is 5,000 USD and for a child is 2,500 USD plus the fee from GFM (2.9% + $0.30 per transaction).
The funds raised will be used to evacuate 4 adults and 2 children:
• Saleem
• Saleem’s wife
• Saleem’s son (9 months old)
• Saleem’s daughter (1.5 years old)
• Islam, Saleem’s brother
• Saleem’s mother
• Meet the basic needs of these families. This will include food, water, medicine, blankets, and medical needs. The funds will be collected using a US bank account and will be wired to Saleem via Western Union in Palestine.

Islam

Their home in Khan Younis. They have nothing to return to.

9-month-old Khaled has a congenital heart condition that causes shortness of breath because of the narrowness of his arteries. He currently has a stent in place.

Here is a message from Saleem regarding his family’s current living situation. I personally know Saleem and have been communicating with him over the last month and previously donated to his family.
I am Saleem Khaled, I hold a master’s degree in finance and am a financial expert. I currently live in Gaza with my wife and two children Zeina, who is 1 and a half years old, and Khaled, who is 7 months old. When Khaled was 20 days old, he had heart surgery and currently has a catheter in his heart. Eventually, he will need another surgery. He has been very sick the last month with respiratory infections. We are very worried about him. My home was demolished and we had to flee to Rafah. We are now living in an agricultural greenhouse, facing many difficulties. I reach out to you and earnestly ask for your support. Please help save our lives before it is too late.
