My name is Sadie "Crook" Tieman, and I need your help! I am struggling with an infected plate in my rear leg that has hindered my mobility. Unfortunately, there aren't enough bones in my puppy bank, so I need your assistance in reaching my goal!

Sadie attended Dogaholics for about a year as a daycare client when circumstances left her family unable to keep her. Heartbroken at the idea of sending her back to a shelter where she would likely be passed over for younger dogs without medical issues, Sadie's family asked Elise, then just a handler at Dogaholics, if she would be willing to take her in. All who know Elise know her to be a kind and generous person, an excellent manager, and a loving advocate for our four-legged friends. Seeing a dog and a family in need, she agreed to take Sadie in and become her forever home. Elise's employees, coworkers, friends, family, and clients can attest to her compassion, giving spirit, and loyalty to Dogaholics, its clients, and every dog that walks through our doors.
Before Elise adopted her, Sadie had surgery for a torn ACL, during which a metal plate was put in her knee to help support it. Over this past year, the plate has become infected, leaving Sadie unable to put weight on her back right leg and putting her in a lot of pain. She also has two open wounds from constantly licking the painful spots on her leg. After an unsuccessful round of expensive antibiotics, Elise has no choice but to proceed with surgery. This surgery would remove the infected plate but is estimated to cost upwards of $5,000. Unfortunately, Elise doesn't have enough income to provide Sadie with this surgery, and as her pain noticeably worsens daily, Elise is running out of options.
Therefore, we are asking for help from all of our fellow Dogaholics. Whether you are a client of our facility or not, we hope you will help this poor pup in pain and her wonderful dog-mom that has impacted the lives of so many, canine and human alike. Any money that can be put toward this surgery is helpful and greatly appreciated. Donations, social media shares, and positive thoughts all make a difference for Sadie and Elise. Help this pup get back on her feet! Every dollar counts!
