Neighborhood Dog Needs Our Help

Rocky is the sad little guy on the left in the photo above. Many of you already know Cantney and his adorable senior dogs, Rocky and Sara; a couple years ago, neighbors banded together to purchase a van for the three of them to live in.
I stopped by this morning to say hi and found little Rocky not well. He was trembling and had swelling under his jaw, which he was scratching. Rocky is 12 years old and had been ill for a couple days. I alerted our neighbors on Nextdoor, and we took Rocky to the Studio City Animal Hospital for an exam.
It turns out that Rocky has severe dental disease, resulting in enlarged mandibular lymph nodes. The vet recommended scheduling a dental procedure soon, as Rocky is so uncomfortable. Some of his teeth will need to be removed. In the meantime, he is now on a course of antibiotics. He also received some pain medication, which Cat said has noticeably improved his spirits.
Rocky is the sweetest little pup imaginable, and fortunately, his health issue can be addressed. We're asking our wonderful animal-loving community to help him get the dental care he needs.
We haven't received an estimate yet for the services, so I'm starting out with a ballpark figure as our campaign goal and will adjust it as necessary. Any and all donations will be truly appreciated.
