Help Robson Fight for His Life Against MS

Donation protected
Not long ago, I lived a normal life — working, studying, and building a future with my wife in Brazil — until I was told I was part of the 1%.

Hi, my name is Robson Mariano da Silva, and five years ago, my life changed forever. It all began with strange pain in my lower back, doctors would tell me that it was a simple spinal issue, even when I saw a neurologist, he reassured me:
“Don’t worry — there’s only a 1% chance it’s multiple sclerosis (MS).”

When the test results came back, everything changed. I was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (PPMS) — a rare, aggressive form of MS that attacks the nervous system without periods of remission. I was, in fact, part of the 1%.
Today, walking even short distances or climbing stairs is extremely difficult — often impossible. I live with constant muscle stiffness, weakness, and overwhelming fatigue. Simple everyday tasks (once routine) are now out of reach. I can no longer be the person I once was. Living in Brazil, access to advanced treatments is extremely limited. The cost of managing my condition has put a huge financial strain on my family. And now, I’ve lost coverage for my daily MS medication — the only thing that helped slow my decline. My pain increases every day as my mobility decreases.

But there is hope!
After extensive research, I discovered a breakthrough therapy called Brain Thermal Tunnel Therapy (BTTT) — developed by Dr. Marc Abreu at the BTT Medical Institute in Miami. This cutting-edge treatment uses brain-guided hypothermia to slow nerve damage, restore function, and improve mobility. It offers a real chance at a better, more independent life.
However, traveling to the U.S. and undergoing this therapy is far beyond my financial means. That’s why I’m reaching out for your help.

How your support will be used:
  • £20,300 – Full course of Brain Thermal Tunnel Therapy sessions
  • £6,000 – Travel expenses to Miami (airfare, lodging, transportation)
Total goal: £26,300
Your help can make the impossible possible — helping me walk again, regain my independence, and live a dignified life.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being part of my journey.
