Hi Everyone,

My name is Gari Colon, and I’m writing this on behalf of my husband, Richard “Richie” Colon — the love of my life, a devoted father, and the heart of our family.

Recently, our world was turned upside down when Richie was diagnosed with colon cancer. What started as minor discomfort quickly became something much more serious. The treatments, the doctor visits, and the toll it’s taken on his body have made it impossible for him to continue working. As many of you know, Richie has always been the kind of man who works hard to provide for his family and never complains — but this battle has brought us to a place where we have to humbly ask for help.

Right now, we’re facing serious financial hardship. With Richie unable to work, we’ve fallen behind on essential bills — including rent, utilities, and basic needs for our household. It breaks my heart to see him in pain, unable to even hold our newborn because of the physical toll this illness has taken on him.

These funds will go directly toward:

    •    Medical bills and treatment costs

    •    Rent and utilities to keep a safe home for our family

    •    Essentials for our children and household needs during his recovery

We are believing in God’s healing power and holding on to faith that brighter days are ahead. Every prayer, share, and donation — no matter the amount — truly means the world to us.
