Hi my name is Ryan, I'm 32 from the UK. On the 22nd of April 2025, I was subject to an Arson attack in my apartment building. This wasn't directly in line to me but to somebody else who lived there at the time. Unfortunately the fire did spread to my apartment meaning, I had lost everything. Everything from my furniture to my clothing. All of my belongings, memories and home/life that i had built for myself, just gone in the blink of an eye.

Thankfully I was not home at the time as I was at work but wasn't told until afterwards that the apartment was up in flames. I didn't suffer any physical damage but the issues this left me mentally has been a struggle.

I have always done life by myself and had no one by my side to support me other than my friends. No family around me since I was 16 but have always been okay with that. They don't agree with my 'life choices' as a gay man as some might say but as I've always said... 'it's their loss'.

I have since found a new place to live and been building my life back up again the best I can, but on minimum wage, this has been difficult. My mattress has been doing me some wonders though! The bedframe will come in time! I've just been doing the best I can, mentally and physically.

Since then I lost my job in September due to the company going into liquidation and all that hardwork had to be put on hold. Its been a really big struggle again since then, even to the point of bills not being paid and no food to get by on, relying on food vouchers which don't go very far at all!.

I have now found a new job and just starting out in my early days. I'm really enjoying it so far, but wanting life back to normal again so i can start supporting myself from a fresh start. I'm asking for some support from you kindhearted amazing individuals to build my life back up again, to get by on essentials again and start making my house a home. I would be ever so thankful for whatever people can do!

This would be going towards an actual bed instead of sleeping on a mattress, a cooker, blinds/curtains, home essentials, bits n bobs to make it a home I can come back to after a long day of work.
