Our beloved JayDina, our Jay Bird, is still flying, but not as strong as she used to be. She’s been in and out of the hospital battling cancer relapse, complications with her heart, kidneys, and a severe blood infection. The medications keeping her alive also make her very sick and weak, yet her faith and spirit remain unshaken.

Jay’s journey began over eight years ago when bone cancer led to the amputation of her left leg. Since then, she’s faced kidney failure, daily dialysis, heart valve surgery, and long hospital stays. Recently, a port infection damaged her heart, and while open-heart surgery was too risky, she now has a pacemaker helping her stay strong.

Despite it all, Jay continues to fight with courage and hope. She’s applying for full disability to focus on her health, but the process is slow and uncertain. Right now, she needs our help with rent, medical costs, and daily living expenses so she can heal without added stress. Her doctors call it a “catch-22”, she needs a heart to have a kidney and kidneys to get a heart. Still, our Jay Bird keeps smiling, praying, and believing.
