Help Nazar's Surgery To Go Back To LIfe

Dear Donors,
My name is Nazar, and I am 12 years old. I am reaching out to you today to share my story and ask for your support in helping me regain a normal life.
When I was just 9 years old, I went on a family vacation to Turkey. Little did I know that this trip would change my life forever. On the fourth day of our stay, I drank water from a newly opened bottle that I had left on the kitchen island at the hotel. Unfortunately, the cleaning service mistakenly used an identical bottle containing Drano acid and switched them. Thinking it was mine, I took a drink, and immediately felt an excruciating burning sensation in my stomach. My tongue swelled up, and I struggled to breathe. I was rushed to the hospital, where it was discovered that the acid had caused severe damage to my internal organs. For 14 days, I endured unimaginable pain while the doctors did their best to ease my suffering.
Upon returning to America, I was admitted to Rady Children's Hospital. Over the course of several months, I underwent numerous procedures to repair my damaged esophagus, but nothing seemed to work. My condition worsened, and I was unable to eat or drink like other children. To sustain my nutrition, I have been reliant on a nasogastric (NG) tube inserted through my nose. But the damage was not limited to my esophagus; my lungs also developed a disease, and my stomach muscles stopped working.
For the past three years, I have watched other kids enjoy their meals, but I can only look on with longing. It has been a difficult journey, both physically and emotionally. I miss playing and having the energy to run without feeling weak and like I am dying. I was once a soccer player who won many games, but now I can't even participate. I miss going to school regularly and getting an education without being interrupted by hospital stays. I miss smiling and laughing without it feeling fake. The NG tube has made me a target for bullying, as my peers make fun of me for being skinny and not being able to join in all activities.
However, there is hope on the horizon. Boston Children's Hospital has offered me a solution—a jejunal interposition/esophagectomy surgery. This groundbreaking procedure has the potential to allow me to eat again, play again, and live a normal life.
The cost of this surgery is millions of dollars at Boston Children's Hospital. I understand that this is a significant amount, but I am reaching out to you today with hope in my heart. I am asking for your support, no matter how big or small, to help cover the expenses of this life-changing surgery. Right now I just need to help raise for my first surgery.
All I want is to be able to eat like other children, to play soccer again, to have the energy to run and laugh with my friends, to attend school regularly, and to smile genuinely. Your donation will not only give me the chance to live a normal life but also provide me with a future filled with hope and opportunities.
I am grateful for your consideration, and any contribution you can make towards my surgery will be deeply appreciated. Together, we can make a difference in the life of a young boy who dreams of a world where he can enjoy food, play sports, go to school, and smile like everyone else. Thank you for your kindness and support.
Sincerely,
Nazar
