Hi, my name is Joanne Bennett and my oldest son, Joshua, who is 29, has recently been diagnosed with brain cancer 3 weeks ago. We are located in Stamford, CT and his treatment option is traveling to NYC, getting chemo every 10 days and then detoxing in the hospital for 3-5 days. This is at least 9 visits a month for Joshua to recover. This is going to be a very long process, my son has a very long road ahead of him. Joshua is not able to work because of the symptoms of his disease and he also has a 4 year old son that he wants to see grow up. We are asking for help for gas, car maintenance, and other expenses we will need to keep Joshua comfortable while he is getting treatment. This would include getting him winter clothes, food, and a pull out sofa so he doesn't has to travel to his 3rd floor bedroom in case he doesn't feel well after treatment.
