Help Meskerem Fight Kidney Failure

“ድረሱልኝ ወደቀድሞው መልሱኝ”- ወጣት መስከረም ተሾመ 

ዕድሜ 28 በሴክሬተሪ ሙያ በዲፕሎማ የተመረቀች 

በአካውንቲንግ 3ኛ ዓመት ተማሪ 

በልጅነቷ የጀመራት የደም ብዛት ፣ የስኳር በሽታና በልብ ህመም ስትሰቃይ በኢንሱሊን ና በሚዋጡ መድኃኒቶች እየተጠቀመች ለብዙ ዓመት ኖራለች:: በአሁኑ ሰዓት ሁለቱም ኩላሊቶቿ ሥራቸውን አቁመው በሳምንት ሦስት ጊዜ የኩላሊት እጥበት (ዲያሌሲስ) ያስፈልጋታል:: ለአንድ ግዜ የኩላሊት እጥበት $1800 ብር ሲሆን በሳምንት ለኩላሊት እጥበቱ ብቻ $5400 ብር ያስፈልጋታል::

 መስከረም የምትወስዳቸው መድኃኒቶች ብዙ በመሆናቸው ለእነዚህ ሁሉ ወጪ የምትከፍለው የሌላት እና፣ በጥቂት የጣሊያን ሠፈር ወጣቶች ረዳትነትና አስተባባሪነት ሕይወቷ እስካሁን አለች:: ከአሁን በኋላ ግን ችግሯ በጥቂት ሰዎች እማይገፋ በመሆኑ አደባባይ ማውጣትና ሕዝብ አውቆት እንድትረዳ ማድረግ ግድ በመሆኑ ይህን መልዕክት አቅርበነዋል ።

"Please save me , return me to my former self"-Meskerem Teshome

Meskerem Teshome is a 28 year old young woman suffering from health complications.  Meskerem graduated with a secretarial diploma and was a third year accounting student before her health took a drastic turn.  Meskerem has had to place her promising career on hold in order to tend to her health.  

Since the age of 12, Meskerem has suffered from diabetes, heart complications, and high blood pressure.  She has been heavily medicated for many years in dealing with the various health issues. As of recently, she has been battling with kidney failure and now both of her kidneys have stopped performing.  She now undergoes dialysis three times a week and each dialysis treatment costs approximately 1,800 Ethiopian Birr (ETB). This brings the total to 5,400 ETB a week just for her dialysis treatment.  In addition to her dialysis treatment, Meskerem has to monitor and treat the other medical issues mentioned above. 

Kind people in the surrounding Talian Sefer area have tried to collect funds locally as much as they could in order to help her and have gotten her so far.  Unfortunately it has become unbearable and they have come to the conclusion that more help is needed in order to take care of Meskerem the right way and get her proper treatment. 

Meskerem is asking us to help save her life.  That is why we have come to ask people around the world to do what you can and help this young woman get back to being the promising and productive person that she really is. All proceeds will go directly to help Meskerem pay for her medical expenses.
