Trying to help send this very deserving lunch lady on an amazing vacation. Ione Elementary's Mary Kirkwood-Yates! Mary has worked in the cafeteria for ten years, but for the last five weeks, she has been doing this job alone. In those five weeks, she has prepared and served nearly 12,000 (yes, TWELVE THOUSAND!) meals ALL BY HERSELF (that's breakfast and lunch, approximately 500 meals per day). All of the prep work, all of the cooking, all of the serving, and all of the cleanup, and she does it all with a smile on her face. Mary, Ione is so lucky to have you!
