Hi. My name is Alex, father to Maayan, 8 and Oriah, 10, both Autistic.

Maayan, in the photo is severely autistic and non-verbal. I am seeking to raise funds to begin with a highly recommended doctor/specialist who has experience with non-verbal autistic children, and has yielded varying degrees of success.

This is the path I'd like her to go down with a Professional's guidance.

Much of the time Maayan is like this.

Maayan has some serious issues the other I'd say 20% of the time.

In addition to being non-verbal, she has Stims that affect her health. She moves her head in jerky movements forward and backward, as well as hits herself repeatedly to the sides of her head and sides of her torso. She is black and blue on her sides and her ears are always red from the blows.

These Stims have been going on for some time and she has done an EEG and MRI examination.

We also need to get her on a special diet administered by highly recommended doctors and specialists. This is all VERY expensive.

We feel if we can help heal her verbally with the help of such recently publicized drugs as Leucovorin, then things that are damaging her now such as the Stims, will subside.
