Two immigrants, (a husband-and-wife) who currently live in Minnesota need your help. Their dream has been to bring the world closer together through countries showcasing and have been working on this concept by developing a social media application called, “My Country My World,” (or “MY!”). This Platform was being designed to help us all share and learn about each other’s world/cultures through social sharing.
This App was borne from the experience of these two founders, and countless others of diverse backgrounds. They had hoped to provide a tool and platform where the world’s people can showcase their countries, cultures and treasures that are of interest to them.
MY! was intended to foster world’s connections through engagement and communication. This globally oriented platform would offer users a space where they could share social media posts that reach people from all walks of life who are willing to hear about or share their culture(s).
MY!’s founders firmly believe that a greater understanding of each other’s similarities and differences is one of the best things they can do to move collectively toward exploring and discovering our shared world and beautiful planet.
After all of their hard work in the development of MY!, the platform came to a sudden halt because their development server was maliciously HACKED by some sophisticated international HACKERS. The source code and databases were affected by this hack and when they received a RANSOMWARE for millions of dollars in bitcoins they could not pay it. These hardworking founders have drained their savings and retirement accounts in order to develop this app already.
After the HACK, the founders asked their founding members to continue and fix the platform with them. The founding members dug as deep as they could into their personal savings because they believed in the platform. Unfortunately there is not a fix to get around the HACK. They have to START OVER.
The only thing that can be done is to REBUILD. The founders do not want to allow these hackers to kill their dreams and win. That is why they have decided to ask for your help to start over.
