On Memorial Day, Lee was exhibiting signs of a heart issue. After much urging, he went to the hospital where after blood work and many tests, it was determined that he has congestive heart failure and his heart is only working at 25-30% EF. He will spend the next three months in a life vest which will send signals to his cardiologist to monitor his heart and will be prepared to deliver treatment should he go into arrhythmia and become unconscious.
Many of you have asked how you can help, and as much as we hate it, the simple answer is bill money. We both missed work this week, as we have been at the hospital awaiting more tests and answers. As far as when Lee can go back to driving, we are unsure of that at this point, and he will need to find a job off the road until we can get his treatment and lifestyle and dietary changes implemented. We are looking at needing assistance for part of our bills for one month, so any help is greatly appreciated.
