Help Landolt Robotics Go To World Championship

All three Landolt robotics teams (813A, 813B, 813C) qualified for the VEX World Championship! They will be competing against teams from across the world at this event held in Dallas on May 2-4.

Unfortunately, CCISD does not fund registration and expenses beyond the Region 3/State Championship level. Your donation is greatly appreciated and will help these 19 students attend this elite event.

Your donations will be used for:

Registration $3600 ($1,200 per team)

Shirts $600 (19 students, 2 coaches, 2 mentors)

Booth Swag $600 ($200 per team)

Any funds received above this requested $$ amount from GoFundMe will be divided among attending families to help cover their cost of lodging, gas & meals.

Please note: If funds sent directly to the school total more than the listed $$ request, the funds will remain at Landolt in a Robotics Fund for future years. These funds can not be dispersed to families.

Demographic data about our school and teams:

Landolt Elementary is located in Friendswood, TX and is south of Houston. Landolt is a Title I school which means 40% or more of our students qualify for free or reduced lunches. Our 19 robotics students are from 4th and 5th grade with 9 girls and 10 boys. Landolt is a Leader In Me campus and all students are eligible (Dyslexic, SpEd, GT, Dual Language, etc.) to try out for the team. Students are selected based on leadership behaviors shown throughout the school year.
