As some of you know, Kimmy was in a multi-vehicle car accident while driving to work on July 30, 2025. She suffered a high-speed rear end collision on the interstate due to the carelessness of another driver. The force of the impact resulted in total loss of her vehicle and injuries to her head, neck, spine and wrist. Later diagnostic testing revealed both new and cumulative Traumatic Brain Injury, her second TBI in just under three years since she was forced off the road by an impaired driver in 2022.

In addition to physical pain, Kimmy is experiencing new sensory, memory, vestibular and cognitive challenges. Her current situation is serious and complex. She needs time, rest and physical therapy to treat her injuries. Further neurological evaluation is ongoing to develop a personal rehabilitation plan to effectively manage her TBI.

Kimmy has been a beloved friend since high school. She is filled with kindness, compassion and warmth. Her smile, laugh and quirky sense of humor are infectious. She loved helping others as a massage therapist and she was creatively inspired and fulfilled by being a muse as a figure model in an academic setting. She has been unable to return to work since her accident and needs our support. She is working hard to both heal her body and adjust to the daily challenges she faces with her TBI.

There is no donation too small to offer support. Funds raised will help Kimmy with immediate needs such as rent and utilities, health insurance, and current and future medical expenses such as costly hyperbaric oxygen therapy to improve blood flow to her brain.
