Support Needed for the Love of (Realtor) Shawn M. Heiser’s Life, Kim Heiser ❤️
Shawn M. Heiser, our beloved Wilmington Realtor colleague, animal rescuer, and friend to everyone he met, passed away Thursday, March 5th after a very brief illness at the age of 48.
Shawn served our county as a Reconnaissance Marine and Team Leader and then as a police officer in Burns, Oregon. More recently, Shawn was a dedicated Realtor and devoted husband to his beloved wife Kim. Shawn was by Kim’s side every step of her difficult and lengthy battle with Lyme disease.
Because of Shawn’s military service to our country and resulting Gulf War Syndrome, he was recently denied life insurance. For this reason, our family at Sold Buy the Sea Realty wanted to reach out to our Realtor community, our friends, and anyone touched by Shawn’s selfless acts of service, to pitch in and help Kim, their furry "son" (German Shepard) Zeke, and cats. Any amount will help toward medical, funeral and living expenses until Kim can get on her feet. We want her to be able to live comfortably in the house Shawn worked so hard to purchase so Kim would have a healthier place to live. Our goal would be to raise enough to pay off the mortgage so Kim could keep their home.
Shawn was there for so many of us when we needed it, so helping the love of his life is the best way to honor him. Thank you so much for reading and most of all, for caring.
