My name is Kevin, I’m 29, i was born in Spain (Madrid), but my hometown is in Porto( Portugal). I grew up without a stable family, living on my own since I was 16. Working full-time from a young age was the only way to keep a roof over my head, which meant putting education on hold even though learning was always my passion.
I never gave up on that dream. I kept studying on my own, step by step, teaching myself and rebuilding my life with discipline and hope. Today, I’m in the Lofoten Islands (Norway), working hard to save money so I can finally begin studying Medicine in my hometown, Porto (Portugal). Becoming a doctor has been my goal since childhood: to heal, serve, and build the stable life I never had—while giving that stability back to others. It's never late to start, and i feel this is the right time.
What I need now is a bridge: help covering essential living costs and initial study expenses so I can start medical school without risking homelessness or having to abandon the course to work full-time again. Every contribution—small or big—moves me closer to the classroom, the hospital, and the chance to change my life and help many others along the way.
My education was postponed out of necessity, not lack of effort or ambition.
Medicine is a lifelong commitment to service; this campaign turns years of resilience into real impact for the community.
With stability in the first year, success and sustainability become possible for the years ahead.
How funds will be used:
Rent and basic living costs in Porto during the first months of classes.
Enrollment fees, books, and essential supplies for the first year.
Transportation and administrative costs to secure housing and university logistics.
