This isn’t easy to share, but I feel it’s time to open up.

About six months ago, I was diagnosed with cancer — a life-changing moment that I’ve been quietly processing with the support of my partner, Henessi Odum. Up until recently, I’ve tried to keep life moving as “normal” as possible. But as the weeks have gone on, the physical toll has grown, and I’m no longer able to maintain a full-time job.

With that, the financial strain has started to hit harder than expected. Between up coming treatment costs, day-to-day bills, basic living expenses and loss in ability to work full time, things have become increasingly overwhelming. Henessi has been doing everything she can to hold it all together — emotionally and financially — but no one should have to carry that kind of burden alone.

I’ve created this GoFundMe to humbly ask for support from friends, family, and anyone who might be willing to help. Your contribution — no matter how small — will go directly toward treatment costs, monthly bills, and keeping a bit of stability in our lives during a time of so much uncertainty.
