Help Keri Roll Forward to Safety and Independence

Donation protected
Hi friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers —
I’m Keri Foreman, a service dog trainer, caregiver to my disabled veteran husband, and lifelong helper. I’ve spent my life supporting others — now, I’m the one who needs a hand.

I’m fundraising $15,000 to reclaim my mobility, safety, and dignity with three life-changing tools:

A custom-fit wheelchair
️ Fencing to secure our property for service dogs in training
An accessible, therapeutic bathtub

First Priority: The Wheelchair

Due to multiple chronic conditions — including Dysautonomia, a neurological disorder that affects blood pressure, heart rate, and movement — I can no longer walk safely or without pain. I now rely on a wheelchair for most daily activities, both indoors and out.

The wheelchair I need is the Ki Mobility Catalyst 5Vx with an Axiom G cushion — a lightweight, supportive model that will allow me to self-propel, protect my joints, and function independently.

After a long wait and updated pricing, the retail cost is $5,070, and the company recommends budgeting $6,500 to cover the full cost.

This isn’t optional — it’s my independence, my health, and my way forward.

Stretch Goal: Fence for a Safe Training Space

We’re building a secure decompression and training area on our property — a space where service dogs clients can run, play, and recharge off-duty. It’s a vital part of creating stable, confident service animals.

We can’t use it safely until fencing is installed. It will also keep me sane while working the gardens on the property in the Sniff Park.

Estimated fencing cost: $4,500 (materials only — I’ll have to install it myself!)

This space will also allow us to host small training groups and Friday-night potlucks for other handlers and dogs.

Final Stretch: A Tub That Heals, Not Just Cleans

Bathing with chronic pain can be difficult and dangerous. We’re planning the installation of the Kohler Memoirs Collection 72" Drop-In Jetted Whirlpool Bathtub — a therapeutic tub designed to:

  • Using Chromotherapy to help reduce anxiety and stress, which can be beneficial for individuals with dysautonomia.
  • Water pressure acts like a natural compression garment, helping to counteract blood pooling in the legs, a common issue in dysautonomia.
  • The pressure of the water on legs helps compress blood vessels, promoting better blood flow to the heart and minimizing symptoms like lightheadedness.

Estimated cost for installation for the contractor, the plumber, and electrician (we already have the tub): $4,000

This isn’t luxury. It’s care, comfort, and safety — in one of the most vulnerable spaces in my life.

Why This Is Bigger Than Just Equipment

Living with Dysautonomia means I never know what my day will look like — some days, I can move around and train without issue. Other days, I can’t safely drive, stand, or even walk more than a few steps. As my condition changes, I’ll need to shift more of my service dog training work out of our home rather than clients’ homes. That alone is stressful — but I’m determined not to give up. This equipment will help me adapt so I can keep doing the work I love in a way that’s safe for my body.

Thank You for Believing in Me

Now, I’m the one in need.
If you can give — even $5 — or simply share this campaign, you’re helping me move forward with strength, dignity, and purpose.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
— Keri
