Help Kelsey and Jeff during this difficult time

This past weekend, My daughter, Kelsey Devine started having horrible pain in her abdomen.  She went to the ER where scans showed that she had a blockage in her small intestine, and her small intestine was twisted.  She was admitted to the hospital immediately, and by Sunday, she needed emergency surgery to take care of the blockage and untwist the intestine.  This was a major surgery and required over 50 staples in her abdomen and stitches internally.  Kelsey is still admitted to the hospital, and will be until further notice. She’s had excessive swelling of the abdomen and her labs are “off”, so her Dr is not sure when she will be released.  After she is released she has orders not to return to work for at least 8 whole weeks!!  Kelsey is laying awake nights at the hospital, worrying about how she will pay her rent, car payment all of her other bills and living expenses.  Kelsey has a 6 year old daughter that she raises with her fiancée, Jeff, and he has two young daughters. Something that upsets Kelsey the most is that they literally just got back on their feet, due toa job lay off this past Aug.  Kelsey started her job atLincare, on Sept 5th of 2019, she had just lost her
apartment back in Aug and they had been living 
with her Grandparents while she saved up the 
money to get their own place again.   They literally just got this apartment on their own in Jan of 2020
She is 5 days short of time worked to be able to useshort term disability.  So she feels she just can’t
catch a break.  Kelsey has gone through a total of 
ten abdominal surgeries over the past 6 years, and this is what caused all of the scarring and 
adhesions that caused the blockage and twist in the intestines.   Her Dr is sending her to Washington University for tests to try to find out why she has
had so many stomach issues in her short 27 years.  She started having issues at 16.  She’s been 
through so much.   Also since this is the start of the calendar year, ins deducts and Out of pockets have started over and she has no idea how much she will-have to pay in medical bills.   Every little bit that
you can give will help them keep their apartment
vehicle and pay utilities, buy food and gas to 
her appointments etc. She appreciates any help
that they can get from the bottom of her heart
as does Jeff and the rest of their families.
