Hi my name is Jamie Filipowicz and I am asking for your help.  My wife, Kathy, has a rare genetic disorder called Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia type 1.  She's had health issues since she was a teenager and has had multiple tumors removed in the past.  She is a breast cancer survivor and all together has had 13 surgeries.  Needless to say she is a fighter.  We have a new fight on our hands and we need help to win it.  Kathy has a tumor in her chest, it is around her esophagus and aorta and can not be removed at the moment.  The tumor needs to shrink before it can be removed.  This health issue has made it difficult for Kathy to work and we are struggling to make it work financially.  Kathy is the most amazing mother to our 14 year old son.  He is the reason she fights so hard.  She loves watching him play baseball and is there to cheer him on at his baseball game.  She is also a wonderful stepmother.  Kathy is fighting everyday to be able to be here for our family and allow our kids to have what any kid deserves, their mother.  This fight has taken a large toll financially on our family and we could use some help.  I can tell you that if your willing to join us in fighting next to Kathy I know we will be able to beat this together.  I love my wife and  I hope you will join me in fighting alongside her.  All donations will go to travel expenses, medical expenses, and supplementing her lost income as we battle this disease.
