 I never thought I’d be here — fighting not just for my home, but for my dignity, safety, and the basic rights every tenant deserves. My landlord has subjected me to months of abuse, threats, and dangerous living conditions — and now I’m seeking justice in a court of law. This isn’t just about me. If they can get away with this, they can do it to anyone.
   
What I’ve Endured & Documented
• Fraud & Misrepresentation — rent collected illegally by someone not even on the lease.
• Threats & Harassment — including to my elderly father.
• Reckless Endangerment — no HVAC for over a month during extreme heat.
• Destruction & Theft of Property — including security cameras I installed for protection.
• Retaliation — lease changes and eviction tactics after I reported violations to the city. • Constructive Eviction — creating unlivable conditions to force me out. City agencies have already cited the property for multiple code violations, but the abuse hasn’t stopped. I’ve filed police reports, gathered evidence, and built a strong legal case — but I can’t take this fight all the way without legal representation.
