On Tuesday, April 29th, the worst flood in recent history ripped through Pensacola destroying businesses, houses, flooding out vehicles and causing much devastation. It rained 26 inches in less than 24hrs and has destroyed a well-known business, Jim Martin Electric, which is having it's 60th anniversary this year. They have lost everything- 2 warehouses full of materials, equipment, the buildings and so much more... pretty much everything needed to run everyday business. Since the office is not located in a flood zone, there is no flood insurance to help cover all that is lost. We are starting with the goal of $15,000, though the value of what was lost is much, much more. For anyone who knows "Big" Jim and Boots Martin, you know they have hearts of gold and have always been the most giving people you could meet- it's time we rally around them and give back!! Anything helps and is appreciated more than you will ever know!
This is the amazing family you are helping!!!!
