My beautiful Sister Jen was diagnosed with breast cancer Aug 7 in Colorado.  Her and her husband had moved there from California when he retired.  Jen started going to Doctors and had her first surgery scheduled in October when they found out her insurance was not covered in Colorado.  Jen dropped everything and came back to California where she was covered for her treatment, leaving her job and home behind.  

Jen was a teacher in the Cripple Creek school district and was heart broken to leave her students , friends and family behind.  Jen has worked her whole life since she was a teenager, Not being able to work has been an emotional and financial burden.

 Jens road has been really rough.  She has had four surgeries , almost died from and infection, hospitalized for 10 days, and just had her first round of chemo at the end January. She has been an inspiration to me and it never ceases to amaze me how strong she is. 

The road to recovery has been a lot longer than we anticipated and is still ongoing. We don't know when she will be able to return to work. That why I put together this fundraiser for her! Thank you in advance for your graciousness.
