Had DiabetesT1 for 48 yrs! & now it's costing me!

Hi, my name is David to Everyone I met after HS or Kreston to

everyone in my family & who I

met before college. It was cool

to ask the teachers in Grade

School to change your name but

it was a major hassle in college.

And when I started working real

jobs, David just stuck. But my

close friends know me as both.

I've never been afraid of

challenges. Took up sky diving @ 18, learned how to fly @ 19, took a few lessons on scuba diving @ 19 but chlostraphobia started,

hmm?

At 15 I vowed to never let

Diabetes beat me. And with

every doctor since, I've never

been afraid to ask them, "why" or "how come"? My primary care

Doctor told me that I was his only Diabetic type 1 patient that

brought notes & questions to

every appointment? I took after my Mom, an Army nurse and my Dad, a Navy intelligence analyst.

While I was working, the

insurance companies took care

My daily diabetic needs. But in

2012, I had to give up my

Favorite job of all, Kitchen indoor,

outdoor, design, cabinets, decks,

any room or space. With Lowes

Hardware. I filed for disability. I

got it 2 1/2 years later. I

drastically reduced my budget & with a little help here & there. I

stayed a float for 5 years. Then

after 1 thing & another. Car,

Medical situations, glasses,

dentist, feet, so on & on. This yr

alone I had a major foot & leg

surgery! Had to get new glasses!

for Diabetics. Had 2 other

hospital stays, because of

Diabetes complications!

I'm now in desperate need of

money to keep me from going

Under. I have used all avenues of

help that is available for people

like me.

My other last hope is winning Lottery?

I developed diabetes T1 at the

age of 15! I'm now 63, 64 on

September 25th! My 1st Dr told my Mom & Dad that because of

the Kidney & Liver damage that was present, I could have either 1 of these organs fail & I would

need transplant to survive. He

gave me an optimistic life

expectancy of 25 more years!

I've been able to live a fairly long life. And with each obstacle that

GOD has allowed to be put in

In front of me, I've been able to

overcome them!

But now I need Help from my

family, friends, school mates,

Acaquantencies & from those

I've not met yet?

I have no way out now!
