"Give more than you take. Smile especially when it hurts. Find solutions, not excuses. Positivity breeds Positivity. Make the most of what you have with appreciation. Knowing other out there have it far worse"
These aren't just words to us—they are the values we’ve lived by while growing up & now raising our family. We have always prided ourselves on being the ones who show up for anyone in need, the ones who fix what’s broken, concentrateon solutions over problems, & the ones who find a way to make it the best out of what we have. A couple years of relentless years of hard luck, it seems we are now facing a mountain we simply can't climb alone.
The Storms That Fail To Get The Best of Us!!
I will fully admit these past few years have been a test of mind, body and soul.
After losing my job, unforseen financial collapse that came from poor advice from our lenders, and a system that cares not for the damage their practices that protect themselves and devistate real lives unexpectedly. My wife, generously, has graciously continued stepping up as our sole provider! As I humbly stepped into the role of homemaker, mechanic, caregiver, councler, cook, housekeeper, gardener, entertainer, remodeler, handyman, logger, and groundskeeper. While also trying to start 2 symbiotic businesses, and pushing to patent a invention that i believe has the ability to take humanity to the next level. Organizing inventory, filing paperwork, marketing, networking, designing, and engineering a way out of societies systemic grind. Through innovation, forward thinking, pure resilience, grit, and determination. Exhausting myself, on sttetching already exhausted resources. Knowing that my sacrifices of today will be well worth watching my family thrive, not just survive, when I'm done. DoorDashing on top of it all to be of immediate help relieving pressure on my wife as much as possible.
This winter we also found ourselves making the most of our fireplace, in our old drafty trailer, for which we are still eternally thankful for, fighting to keep our children warm, and our pipes from freezing. After running out of resources to get the furnace up and running. We still felt nothing to complain about; we just keep moving forward with smile. Overcoming the weight of it all with a positive outlook, and gratitude knowing it could always be worse.
Still awfully hesitant to even ask for any outside help, I fear the time has come to reach out to our community with hope that we might find a helping hand reaching back!
Our Breaking Point....
This past weekend, the unthinkable happened. During winters last attempt to make her mark.. a snow storm dropped 5 inches over night. While starting the 25 mile journey to pick up our son after a sleepover at his "Wela & G-Pa's" I was less than a 1/2 mile from our house, getting on the highway, and was T-boned by a truck traveling around 70 mph.
I am grateful to be alive, even more thankful our son (and any other family) wasn't with me. The impact totaled our most reliable vehicle, my truck! Which we had just invested $1,600 for repairs the weekend before. Only to find out that after we had changed our phone numbers, banking error, alert emails lost to spam, causing a missed payment we were unaware of, our insurance had just been canceled. We faced mounting wrecker fees, fines we are still worried we cant pay, and the loss of the vehicle that allowed us to keep things moving for our immediate 12-member family. This bind has the ability to truly break us
Why We Need Your Help...
It is incredibly humbling—and honestly, heartbreaking—to even have to ask for any help. We have always strived to be more for giving, not receiving. But we are at a crossroads between our family’s well-being and the ability to overcome this ourselves above all else. Any donations will go directly toward:
Covering accident-related fines and costs. A down payment on a basic, reliable commuter vehicle, suitable to our families need, helping us get to & from work/school without fear of facing breakdowns, and potentially even more out of pocket cost. Stabilizing our home! Catching up on mounting bills, and ensuring our children have a warm, happy, healthy, nurturing, and nourishing place to call home always. As well as Legal/Bankruptcy fees to finally clear the path for a fresh start, and solid foundation to build successful futures.
Our Promise to You....
If you know us, you know we don't stay down, or out for long. We wholeheartedly believe in paying our debts in full. Either directly or through the "Pay It Forward" mentality. Every dollar donated is an investment in a family that will spend the rest of our lives repaying that kindness, and those blessings back for generations. To any and all that we can!
Even if you're unable to give financially, your prayers, positive vibes, and shares mean more to us than we could ever express in words as well.
At the very least.... Thank you for even taking a moment to hear our story. By doing so you are already helping us find the brighter side of it all.
With our deepest gratitude,
The Konye Krew
Thank you!!!
