Hello, my name is DeeAnn Cheatham and I am raising funds for Rachel and Jason Hamil. Jason has been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, which takes the calcium and protein from his bones and moves it to his bloodstream and then to his kidneys where it is expelled from the body. His bones are very fragile and he has had multiple fractures and a lot of pain. These funds will help cover two years of insurance deductibles (2023 and 2024) and for expenses during the 4 months Jason will not be able to work while undergoing and recovering from intense chemo. While multiple myeloma is not curable, doctors hope this chemo will give Jason additional years with his family, especially during the critical years when his son is growing up.
